FAQs

Venue Specifications

Are you considered accessible?

We do not currently have a fully accessible washroom. The 1st floor washrooms are available, but do not offer the support systems of accessible washrooms. There is a small raised platform once you enter the main room and we do provide ramps to accommodate wheelchair access when needed. You can review our floor layout in full in our 3D tour and feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.

What is your capacity?

We are a 536 standing capacity or 260 seated capacity venue.

Is there on-site parking?

We have no dedicated parking. We recommend the available street parking or one of the multiple municipal lots within a 3 minutes walk from the venue. These are located at the corner of Athol and Celina (lot 16) and Mary and King (Mary Street Parking Garage/Parkade 3)

What can I bring into the venue? What is the outside food/drink and bag policy?

No outside food or drink is allowed. We reserve the right to check all bags for contraband/banned items. You may be required to check your bag.

Do you offer coat check?

Coat Check is offered for most GA standing events during the winter months. Please call ahead day-of-event to confirm if the event you're attending has coat check in operation. Coat check is cash-only and costs $4 per item when available.

What payment options are available?

We accept all major credit cards, cash, debit and have an ATM on site for your convenience.

What are your COVID-19 policies?

The Biltmore Theatre follows the local guidelines and restrictions laid forward by the Durham Region Health department. At this time, no restrictions are in place. Masking is optional. Please respect others' health, wellness, and choices.

Ticketing

Can I buy tickets in person?

Yes, our Box office is open 2-hour ahead of any scheduled event for on-site ticket purchases. Tickets can also be purchased throughout the week in person by contacting us in advance for pick-up/purchase timing. Staff is usually available on-site from Tuesday-Saturday 10AM-530PM.

I didn't receive my tickets in my email. What should I do?

If the tickets were purchased outside of the box office at tickets.biltmoretheatre.com, you will have to follow up with the ticket provider you purchased through. Biltmore Theatre can only offer support on tickets purchased through our box office.

If you purchased tickets through Biltmore Theatres Box Office, email or call us with your name, phone number, and email address used to purchase your tickets.

Please note, all tickets are sent via a secured email (TLS) from our servers. Bell and Sympatico email addresses do not accept or receive secured emails. As such, if your patron account uses a @bell or @sympatico email account, it is unlikely you will receive electronic tickets. Please provide an alternative email address or delivery method.

Event Specifications

When does the show start?

The Biltmore Theatre always posts DOOR times. We suggest arriving at the event at or just prior to the posted door times. For large events, line-ups do occur and entry can take 30-45 minutes. Most performances begin one hour after scheduled doors.

Is there assigned seating?

We offer multiple event configurations that may include: general admission, assigned seating, and tiered levels. Floor and event layouts vary per event. Your individual event description includes your events floor layout.

Is the event all ages?

Our events are listed with age restrictions in the event descriptions on the ticketing page. We host both 19+ and All Age events. Please check the individual event listing for restrictions.  If you have any questions about a specific event,  please call to confirm.

Food & Drink

Are you licensed?

Absolutely! The Biltmore holds all required licensing and permits to serve alcohol for special events and concerts. A selection of beer, liquor, and spirits is available at one of three bars in our facility for your convenience. Non-alcoholic options are available.

Do you sell food?

We sell theatre-style freshly popped popcorn and hot dogs at most events.
